Abstrak

Green Financial Crime merupakan ancaman serius terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan dan integritas ekonomi global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran inisiatif lingkungan yang berlandaskan keagamaan dalam memerangi green financial crime melalui tinjauan literatur, eksplorasi ajaran agama tentang pengelolaan lingkungan, serta evaluasi dampak advokasi keagamaan terhadap kebijakan publik dan perilaku masyarakat. Dalam konteks praktis di Indonesia, lembaga kemanusiaan Muhammadiyah terlibat dalam penanggulangan bencana, dengan fokus pada keberlanjutan lingkungan dalam upaya pemulihan. Hal ini mencakup advokasi untuk pengelolaan limbah yang lebih baik dan pembangunan infrastruktur ramah lingkungan di daerah rawan bencana. Inisiatif-inisiatif ini menunjukkan bagaimana organisasi keagamaan memanfaatkan pengaruhnya, serta menyelaraskan ajaran agama dengan tindakan nyata di lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis tematik untuk menemukan dan mengeksplorasi tema serta pola dalam data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan berbasis agama berperan penting dalam memerangi green financial crime, baik di tingkat lokal maupun global. Karena krisis lingkungan sudah nyata, sangat penting bagi organisasi keagamaan untuk memprioritaskan kesadaran lingkungan melalui moral, etika, serta praktik ajaran agama. Integrasi pemikiran agama dan pemanfaatan kekuatan organisasi berbasis agama dapat sangat memperkuat upaya dalam memerangi green financial crime, sehingga menuai hasil yang lebih adil dan berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan.
